Housing market data Q4/2023: Slow stabilisation of purchase prices
The data from the empirica real estate price index for Q4/2024 is here. One of the results: The trend of rising rental prices continues. For new apartments, the rental prices have increased by 1.3% in the independent cities compared to the third quarter of 2023, and by 1.4% in the districts. The indices for rental apartments of all years of construction recorded an increase of 1.3%.
However, the indices of condominiums and one- or two-family houses have continued to fall on average over all years of construction. However, the decline has slowed significantly compared to the beginning of 2023. The indices for one- and two-family houses fell by 1.4%, the indices for condominiums fell by 1.1%. Only the indices of newly built condominiums stabilized compared to the previous quarter with a slight increase of 0.5%.
